Like many modern love stories, ours began with a match on Hinge.

Our first date was... memorable—but maybe not for the right reasons. We met for trivia night, but a couple ended up crashing our dinner and turning it into a team effort, so we barely got to talk to each other. Thankfully, we both agreed we deserved a second chance.

For date number two, we wandered through Charleston with stops at Peacock, 167 Sushi, and Carmella's. Somewhere between cocktails, sushi, and dessert, we realized we had found something special. Those places have since become some of our favorite traditions and are still part of our regular date nights.

In August 2025, we officially moved in together with our two pups, Boomer and Goose. While Walt is responsible for the daily walks, Sofia is definitely the preferred snack provider. The boys have become the real-life version of stepbrothers, keeping us laughing every single day.

Then, on an ordinary Monday evening in June 2026, Walt surprised me with the easiest "yes" of my life. Right there in our kitchen, surrounded by the home we'd built together, we took the next step in our greatest adventure.

Now we can't wait to celebrate the beginning of our forever with all of our favorite people.
